Rhonda Rosen
Chief Financial Officer

Rhonda Rosen Rhonda "Roni" Rosen comes to Konanda with an extensive background in finance and banking. She is a certified public accountant, and received her B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from The Wharton Business School at The University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Rosen also has an M.S. in Taxation. Prior to joining Konanda, Ms. Rosen was Senior Vice President of Wood Creek Capital Management, an alternative asset management firm and Konanda's seed capital provider. Prior to working at Wood Creek, Ms. Rosen was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking practices at Putnam Lovell NBF and CIBC World Markets, covering asset management and insurance companies. Before beginning her banking career, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of Golden Financial Group, a variable life and annuity company, and of its broker-dealer and insurance subsidiaries. Ms. Rosen also served as a Senior Financial Officer at CIGNA Corporation and as an auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in New York City.

Michael Picek
Senior Associate

Michael Picek Mr. Picek brings to Konanda experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing as well as in managed care formulary interactions. Mr. Picek, a graduate of Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, was a Summer Associate at Konanda in 2007 and played an important role in the diligence and acquisition of Equetro® by Konanda’s portfolio company, Validus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to attending graduate school, Mr. Picek was a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and District Trainer for Berlex/Schering A.G. Pharmaceuticals, which was re-named Intendis and subsequently acquired by Bayer. Mr. Picek was involved in the launch of Finacea® and worked on formulary interactions for the product with managed care organizations. Prior to his work at Schering, Mr. Picek was a Physician Services Representative and Marketing Associate for National Dermatopathology Laboratory, a private start-up company that provides diagnostic services to dermatologists. Mr. Picek also worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience at U.C.L.A. in basic research and has a B.S. degree in Psychobiology from U.C.L.A.
